About me…

I have always loved to travel, discovering new places & cultures.

My first travel experience alone was as an 18 year old & I have continued to adventure alone ever since. Occasionally I have been joined by a ‘companion’ but invariably that hasn’t worked out too well!!

Last year, my partner ( who is definitely still around) & I explored Greece, Turkey & parts of the USA.

I fell in love with Greece & will be there for three months this year, on my own.

This is my first ‘real’ blog & I don’t have a clue what I’m doing, but you’re welcome to follow my adventures & get a taste of what it’s like being in a foreign land with very little ability to speak the language!!

If you know me well, you’ll know I like to be right outside my comfort zone, so far that I’m not really sure I even have one 🙃

I will continue to exercise, walk, eat too much, chat to anyone & find beautiful places to be in nature.

I love art, culture, words, food, laughter, nature, history & most of all people. So if you like any of those things then you might enjoy this personal blog about what I do.
